WTF!!! :?: :?: Turned on the unit this arvo and the normal Toyota logo was not there... instead I got a bloody Kia one?????

Must have a few logos in the system and is set to display the one that suits the car that its going into but seems to have gotten confused somewhat.

Hahaha. Apparently this happens when you apply the flash rom fix. If you contact Matt there is a series of codes that you enter by pressing a button here anbd clicking on another several times and then hopld one hand in the air and spin around. This will display a menu that allows you to select features including the logo. (or so I believe).

Seems to be only when a CD is loading, on startup the Toyota logo still displays ok. I'll email Matt and see what he says.

Yep that worked. Just had to make sure to input the asterixes as well.

                  Hi Guys

I would like to check out the 'premium' head unit & hear the audio quality in particular before buying it.

Does anyone in Adelaide have one installed in a 120 & doesn't mind me arranging to have a look at it?

                  Cheers

                  Craig

Thanks to Geexel for letting me check out his TP09X1 this afternoon. Surprised to hear of a few floating around Darwin!

Sent a message to Matt @ DigOptions via ebay, just waiting on reply to see what the differences are with the model to suit the 80 series

My DVD / CD play has just died with teh dreaded "no disk" which has since been followed by "err disk"

Looks like I need a new internal DVD/CD unit to the TP09x1 at just on 12 months...

It is a hop 1200w unit but lots of heads available from china etc but I was hoping for a complete unit... Less mucking around.. Let alone trying to tune and align lasers etc..

If any one has had some first hand experience.. Would be great to know...

IF ANY ONE HAS a TP09X1 on teh bench - Would be helpfully to know teh model of teh Laser scanner assy that is installed in it..

Dig- Options must be busy as NO response or reply's as of yet... Fingers crossed ?

Edit: Matt was busy with the footy... I guess as a NON footy person I have to live with GF and follow up GF and maybe even a 3rd time lucky

I have the same issue as well - unit about the same age in a 100 series :? Only started this week although I haven't tried to play a dvd since I returned from Birdsville in August.

Keep us informed of your dealings with Matt. Maybe I should send him an email as well.
