Hey guys, it has come to our attention that someone had freezing issues with the AVN unit. The units are 128mb ram so it's not a system issue but related to the SD Card which is easily resolved. Just contact us if you have any questions. Cheers, Matt

Thank you for the link. I remembered reading it but couldn't find it. The sd card will need to be exchanged i'm sorry if you are having this slow processing problem. It was due to a bad batch of sd card supplied by our supplier which didn't affect too many but difficult to track those affected down.

Will a 8GB Micro SDHC card work in the AVN11TP unit? I am currently using a 4GB Micro SDHC card but need some more space so wanted to try a larger card.

The answer to my question is yes it does. I got a 8GB class 4 Micro SDHC today ($15 online), copied my old files onto it and plugged it in. Worked fine.
As well as having more free space , more importantly it sped up the gps starting, loading screens etc for me.
The standard Mirco SDHC was a slow card and my new card made a nice diference. Your mileage may vary.

Your'e not alone there Gumboot, I have the 3GS with the same message "charging not supported".

Matt is trying to get a solution with the chinese suppliers. Hopefully they come out with a bios update for the unit.
Real pain it doesnt charge my iphone 3GS.

Keyboard size

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way of increasing the size of the keyboard on the screen, my eyes aren't what they were and finding it very hard to operate Ozi with the tiny on screen keyboard. Is there any source of a manual with some reasonable info for the premium unit.

Apriti00, Check the menus in Ozi. I was able to increase the keyboard size, and the file menu size and font size from memory a while ago.

Excellent news about the new maps as my house and the 2 next to me apprently dont exist on the current GPS maps! As we live in a mature street near the the city.

OK so here is another question, I purchased an extra camera to put under/front of the car but it has come without wiring instructions, might be a simple task but I don't want to do any damage and was wondering if anyone has already dine this and how the wiring is connected.

Hi Craigus, I have installed one only 2 weeks ago. Ill take some photos as soon as I can of how it fits in the dash. I did however need to trim the dash surround to fit it in. All of the other fitting and wiring was very easy.
