Anyone know where I can buy a copy of this software. Seems to be a number of sites with pirate versions, but cannot find anyone selling it.

Re: IGO8
Does not answer your question directly but both E-bay GPS's I have purchased both had cracked/pirated versions of IGO8 on them from the vendor. And after using it for a while now it's not that flash, sitting in towns you ask for a caravan park, and it tells you the nearest one is 300km away. Though it still had the van parks in the town listed.
And in Toowoomba it took us to the back of a van park instead of the front.
Just tried to use it on a 7000km road trip from Cairns to Goulburn and back and it certainly has it's faults.
I have no experience with other software (Navman, TomTom etc) though. Maybe I will try Route 66 again.
Maybe we need a poll on the best street map software.

Re: IGO8
HI,
the digioptions gps unit runs igo8 8.0. version with the sensis maps.
I have also installled the igo8 8.3.2 which is the latest version. This uses the navtech
maps.I have found the sensis maps (including the database) is better for major cities,
but when it comes to country areas (localities) the sensis is not that good. The Navtech
maps are not good for major cities but for country areas i think they are better.
For example the sensis maps have the suburb Banksmeadow in sydney were the navtech
don't have it, instead it is listed under botany. The sensis maps don't list the locality depot beach
near bateman's bay bat the nvtech does.Wchich means with the sensis maps you can not
have a destination to depot beach. The same goes for the merricumbene locality near araluen.
sensis has araluen but not merricumbene.
So since i have both versions, in the city i use igo8 8.o with sensis maps and igo8 8.3.2
for country areas.
