Currently have the toyota navigation system in my grande which runs the whereis mapping software. Has anybody used anything better to replace dvd with more outback versions? eg; exploroz software?

Welcome to the forum Dazza..
Checkout the digi options head unit, there are plenty of us here that run this as their all-in-one unit.

Currently Im using IGO8 as my on road navigation, and Oziexplorer for my off road maps.

with the oziexplorer does that run directly off your nav system or does it need to be on laptop

No, it runs directly off the satNav. You load the OziExplorer CE software onto the MicroSD card along with all of your maps.

Hi looking at getting one of those digi units. will the oziexplorer maps load on the 2 gig sd card they provide along with the road maps ,or do you need to get a bigger chip

Steve, i run a 2gb mirco sd card and it has on it both the maps for iGo, plus 2008 Hema raster. It has more then enough room for these plus some of my own custom maps.

Hi got one of those all in one units from dig option does anybody know why when i try to put the user name and serial code in for (oziexplorer) ,as i touch the key board on the screen the screen dissappears and prompts me back to navi, how do i stop it from doing that so i can enter the info thanks Steve.

Get in touch with Matt. He has a fix for this. You down load it from the Hubble site and it's an easy fix. Few people have had a need for this now. Something with the Hires screens only.
