Re: TwoNav Aventura
Hi Karatha,
I have a TwoNav Adventura and I'm just satrting to get my head around its options.
Thus far have found it easy to use for general street directory use.
I used it on the weekend around Paynes Find utilising the desert maps and it was easy to use and read.
I chose it due to the fact I also like sailing and wanted something that was robust in both dusty and wet environments. It also came out on top of a GPS tests conducted by 4wd action a few months ago.
generally happy so far, just have to start using the options for trip planning etc.
regards

Re: TwoNav Aventura
CompeGPS which is the software used to create send maps to twonav products is the best i have seen, you can use both raster and vector maps on the same map or choose one or the other. For example you can download raster maps from geoscience australia and the free CompeGPS version will convert them to RMAP format for use in the twonav product.Originally posted by karrathaprado2Thank you for that...I am thinking about getting one too and wanted to see if anyone else was using one and gauge their opinion of it. Nicko at GPSAustralia sells the VMAP which is street navigation with voice turn by turn.
Recommended buy.
