Yep another silver one. Bought this bog standard except for the HR towbar and the 15,000ks already on it. May 2010 d4d

Here she is in all her glory. as i got her except for the tint which i did on the first day back in qld

a couple of weeks ago i decided on the arb deluxe winch bar colour coded which i fitted myself

today after much pondering and the fact it cost me bugger all i decided to go with Old Man emu shocks and springs for the prado I fitted them at one of my shops today

    the before shot

    the bits

    the result....

    before
    front 770
    rear 780

    after
    front 830
    rear 870

doesnt that make the stock wheels and tyres look pissy!!!

Am going to give it a week or so to be sure but atm im not a huge fan of the rear end as i think the springs are a little hard.... will work on that, they cost me bugger all so not an issue to get another set of springs and play around some

    To come

BFG's (size is the issue as there is availability issues on a couple of sizes up to 3 months maybe)
    Winch
    Radio
    Bars and rack
possibly new wheels (still looking for what i want)
performance mods (chip exhaust ... still researching and seeing whats my best option there)
driving lights (looks like im going to be a narva wholesaler so the price will be hard to beat  )
mudflaps although its too late for my rear bar

Went straight for it with the bar and lift mod, didn't you mate?
You'll certainly need to do something about those tiny looking wheels...

How's the weight in the back? might find that stiffness gone once its loaded up for a trip?

Looks good - keep the photos coming!

Starting to like the rear end even after just a weekend its gobbles up bumps like they arent there and was great with the boat on the back so a load should improve it... should see me with the speedbumps in the shopping centre (just kidding) after all shopping is for the bride.

Yep cant help myself with the mods and have to agree with the tyres and rims .... found a BFG in stock that only gives my 55mm increase in diameter  but im not going there

if i can sort out the business's might be doing the cape june - july so i need to get her ready for that ...

      better pics to come
