Nice work Mr MLC!!! I'll have to get me some of that stuff. I've seen similar things made up at the camping shows being sold for ridiculous prices and at half the lengths of the ones you have made. Putting the U clips on are a great idea too.

Yep, will do although I'm sure they won't do justice to the actual light they give off.

Sorry I forgot to add the link to teh $3 plug packs. Pls see post above. It's for indoor use for the aquarium and some kitchen bench lighting. As for in-car install, I will probably hardwire to the interior dome lights.

Yep, I would, but I have absolutely no idea if the amps etc would be ok. They come with a plug that looks like it would fit that connection, but its 1 plug and the light is 5 meteres long!

I won't be using all 5m in one go. 20cm is probably enough. Don't want to blind the fish!

Had the camper for almost 12 months and put in for a service and check over. Did the bearings, and replaced one strut. All good and ready for the next 12 months and all future work will be done at home except for a possible electric brake conversion from the mechanical brakes currently on the unit.
