Good plug! Although in Malcolm's line of business, a 'plug' is not just a plug...

I suppose one of these days we'll get back to actually talking about your Prado, so just to keep the mods (are there actually any mods left around this show??) happy, did you end up getting that bonnet scoop fitted?

The minister for finance is being difficult to say the least. I am working on how to acquire said bonnet scoop and a 30 inch LED bar that will sit in full view of said minister, onto the car without here actually noticing.

She recently noticed the HID upgrade whilst I followed her car in my car. NOT a happy camper.........

Apparently she will give my "dangly bits" back in a few weeks when she calms down. Its not like I need them anyway, my birthday is a long way off and they should re-attach by then.

True dat! The rig pulled me aside and politely let me know its been feeling neglected. As a tear rolled down my cheek the guilt was overwhelming and I agreed to never do thatagain. No house is worth it. I know where my values must lie and I promised to rectify my negligent past.


On the list:
1. Install 1 x Maxtrax windshield sticker
2. Customised replacement 3mm plate to replace the ARB supplied one that comes with the bullbar.
3. NewPro Tech 30 inch LED Bar to go on top of the ARB bullbar.
4. Front and rear semi permanent fixed recording cameras.
5. Insert various LED replacement bulbs.
6. New model Hilux bonnet scoop.
7. Change to AJ dual wheel career. Anyone want a perfectly good MCC career at half price?
and
8. Longer term is a 4 inch lift (if superior engineering do it for a Grande) and 33 inch STT's and differentb rims.

It is a great bar. Probably the best on offer for a 120. I have always been a Kaymar fan, but they got theirs wrong on the 120 in my humble opinion. I will be changing to Aj's because it gives slightly better clearance with the integrated towbar unit. I have a HR which is bloody tough, but a bit low in the girdle for me. I want "perky".Whoever gets my outfit will be laughing and I'm not hiding the reasons for the change or making up false reasons. (OK, AJ is paying me, you know, cash for comments etc etc)I am also looking for a marriage counsellor, to assist through the mediation process when SWMBO finds out.....

Somthing like a procomp rim?
Looks like a couple are on 33's now with these rims with a different offset.

Attended at AMTS on Saturday to get the replacement ARB plate test fitted. All good, nice and thick too! Hope he laser cuts "PRADO" into it!!!!!


Also got the LED light bar but its slightly bigger than anticipated so waiting on AJ120 to get his plasma cutter as a Christmas present (Trish is obviously very generous) and then some custom brackets will follow.


The older I get the slower mods happen, don't they know time is NOT on my side?

Does it fit exaclty the same but just thicker?
