MLC post up some photos of the AMTS ARB plate please mate.
Does it fit exaclty the same but just thicker?

Fits exactly the same, thicker and closes the large gap above the factory tie down points.

The older I get the slower mods happen, don't they know time is NOT on my side?

Surely the mods are slowing down as there is not much left you can do..... that is until you start modding a Pootrol

So, I painted the custom brackets supplied by AJ. After clamping them to text before drilling I decided they didn't provide enough clearance, then after playing around kept "adjusting" until they sat as high as possible. The end result looks great but the bonnet does hit the light. Perhaps the welding master will need to revisit the brackets, but they look smack ANC I will just be careful for a while .

The he following pics are the end result subject to wiring them up to comply with relevant laws.

Revised the mounts to put the bar closer. Also solved the knocking issue.

Updated list:
1. Install 1 x Maxtrax windshield sticker DONE
2. Customised replacement 3mm plate to replace the ARB supplied one that comes with the bullbar. Just waiting on AMTS (sheesh he is slow) , should be done in a few weeks
3. NewPro Tech 30 inch LED Bar to go on top of the ARB bullbar. DONE
4. Front and rear semi permanent fixed recording cameras. DONE
5. Insert various LED replacement bulbs. Abandoned as ARB have new ones so I will get those.
6. New model Hilux bonnet scoop.
7. Change to AJ dual wheel career. Anyone want a perfectly good MCC career at half price?
and
8. Longer term is a 4 inch lift (if superior engineering do it for a Grande) and 33 inch STT's and different rims.

That sounds like me, let me know when you're ready to upgrade to AJ's. It'll be good practice for Matt to uninstall from your rig and re-install on mine. That way he can tick something else off his bucket list.

By the way, I'm tipping you meant rear bar instead of 'career'

I really like the look of your (LED) bar. It looks very strong and firm, with good penetration.

Are you able to show me some more detailed images of how you have mounted your (LED) bar to your (ARB) bar?
