Tomorrows planned activities include
Oil and filter change
Air Filter change
Fuel filters to be changed (I have 2)
Coolant change
Install of ARB Compressor under passenger seat (I have seen too many get damaged under the bonnet due to heat and muck, plus my other vehicle has it's compressor under the seat and it has always been good)
Then on Sunday I take it out on a reckie from Warwick (qld) to Undercliff Falls area.
This is one of the trips for the 4WD Corroboree to be held at Warwick at the end of April.
While I was doing the rear bar I decided now was the time to do the reversing light / work light install
Reason, reverse lights are useless with 2 spare tyres in the way so I need something to illuniate the way.
As I have a couple of fog lights laying around from old vehicles, I decided one of these would be a good start.
if I don't like the colour, I can always retro fit a work light later as I have installed a relay to save overloading the circuit anyway.
All welded up using some scrap I had
Sorry about the picture quality but the top part of the wiring is done after paint
Cables secured and mounted to the bar in readiness for the rear bar to go back on the vehicle
As I did not have any rubber grommets to protect the cables, I used silicone so they won't move;
