Just wondering with the lights on the roof? do you get much reflection from things like the aerial and the bar? or is it not too bad?
The reflection is not a lot what there is is well worth putting up with for the amount of extra light there's some pics I put up a while ago back a couple of pages think there on 6 they might help

    • WOW you have a nice off road ride.. I like the modifications you done on the ride, because they are making the ride like loaded.. and also have much space in the back of the drive. I like you drive, thanks for sharing the photos..

          • Back from our trip 7800km in 4 weeks lots of 4wding all through the Kimberly only one problem steering pump fail on the way home sounds like an old commodore that's low on power steering fluid.
Took it to Toyota they told me I'd bent the steering rack witch had caused the pump to fail $3500 for the rack and $1500 for the pump plus fitting ended up nearly $6500.but I like to do things myself so I took it home and found the rack wasn't bent but the end had come undone witch holds the bearing and seal.
I called Toyota and asked if they actually looked at the rack and they said there was something loose on the rack and my rack boots were cut and because of that there is no warranty and that was as far as they got, great for a car with 40,000 on the clock.
            But that's Toyota for you

                  • Thats a bugger to hear mate. I bet it was still an awesome trip though. How many kms on your Prado all up?

I have my Pump replaced @ 50k due to a whining noise.

I've struggled to get my hands on a copy of this. Does anyone know whether it's available online or if someone has a copy, would they be prepared to scan it and email it to me?

                              • Very keen on the Aurora LED bars myself. In particular a single row bar to sit under the front of my Pio platform. ( Just chipping away at SWMBO at the moment as Xmas is approach'n)
