Yeah they look the goods mate. Are they the imitation bead lock or the genuine bead lock type? Have you had any trouble with them scrubbing on the guards with the -25mm offset considering that puts them 50mm further out? I'm seriously considering buying a set they look shit hot.

Their proper bead locks had a few dramas with the rubbing had to cut most of the front mudflaps away and they still rub a little if you hit a bump on full lock but apart from that all good. They do hang outside the the guards a bit as well but I like the look of that

                Hi Brett,

Water, water, water... It's such a challenge to find a solution that fits well in the cabin and is secure with ease of access for draining and filling. I'm always keeping my eye out for alternate solutions (and reasonably priced, unlike under-body tanks).

I can't make out the 50ltr tank in your photo. What product did you go with and how is it mounted? Where do you access the tank from for refilling and draining?

                Thanks,
                LFaR.

The tank is mounted to the front of the drawers there is a cap on top to fill and a hose and tap on the bottom to drain what you cant pump out. can't remember the make off hand but will have a look and maybe take some closer photos so you can get a better idea

Just looking through your photos Brett and I just noticed something. The MTR's that you run, correct me if I'm wrong but are they considered a directional tyre?

The reason I ask is that if they are then I believe it means you cannot put a tyre from the driver's side to the passenger side (or vice versa)?

If so, this would mean that depending on the way a spare is configured would mean you can only replace the spare with a tyre on a particular side of the vehicle, which if you are running 2 spares, would mean you want to have one for the driver's side and one for the passenger side?

Again, just having a look at your photos, it would appear that both spares are configured the same way.

Hope all the above makes sense, cos I don't know how else to explain it!

                          G'day Brett,

Great looking Prado mate. Am looking at roof racks and mounting options at the moment. Have you mounted to the rails or removed the rails to get it lower? Is yours an ARB rack? and info of the type and pricing would be great.

                          cheers Brigadoon

Hi hudo08 from memory hey were a +25 offset same as landcruiser they rubbed a bit on the front till I cut the mud flaps now they only rub on full lock if you hit a big bump they make the wheel base 50mm wider on each side

If these are the correct wheels, the offset is actually -25. This wheel (17x8 ET -25) will stick out a further 55mm than the stock wheels (17x7.5 ET +25).
