Rhino Pioneer Rack and Foxwing Awning

The latest edition, a Rhino Pioneer Platform Rack and Foxwing Awning. Still undecided whether to leave the Foxwing on all the time or not?? Total maximum height seems to be around 2.15 metres, just squeezes in to our garage, not sure how many dramas Ill have in car parks. Off to Sydney on the weekend, guess Ill find out!
Went for a drive up the freeway today, couldnt really hear much noise, unsure at this early stage about whether it will increase fuel consumption or not.
If anyone is after a set of factory rails and or two cross bar racks, let me know.

Fuel consumption has increased 0.1 L/100km with the Rhino Platform and Foxwing. No real wind noise to report.

Had a TJM Airtec Snorkel fitted today by the guys at TJM Newcastle. Very happy with the result.I Also fitted 15mm Spacers to the front end yesterday, lifting it back to where it should be. The car now sits nice and level. Im going to fit Polyair bags as well to deal with the extra weight when we are fully loaded and/or towing the camper.
Finally, I also took delivery of, and installed my Sandgrabba Mats. They look great, were easy to install, and the people at No Bull Accessories were fantastic to deal with.
Now what to do next? The new TJM Rocksliders are pretty tempting!

Coming along nicely Adam. What a shame that Airtec don't make the same style intake for the 120. It would gain me an authority to proceed from SWMBO straight away. As subtle as the 120 Airtec version is compared to the Safari, she still won't budge...

I had an Airtec on my 120 Series as well. I just like the shape and design, it looks a lot more modern and in keeping with The Prados looks. As for your wife, buy one anyway, and do what I do, tell her you won it in a raffle!

Still chipping away... Ours went in for it's 120K (Major) service yesterday. Wife & I went into reception to pick it up and in the notes the Mechanic recommended that a snorkel be fitted due to the condition of the air filter & dust collector. "It was GOLD!" (she reckons she was setup and I paid him to do it....) The only style she's seen as acceptable is the 150 airtec like yours.

The Artec look great, is there anyway to turn the intake side around. ie with the Safari you can undo the clamp then turn it around if the conditions are really dusty.

No mate, its fixed. Im trying to find a sock filter that I can modify or cut to fit over if Im driving through dust.

A couple more pics. Priced up the TJM Rock Sliders. Now to save up. Also fitted my newly aquired offroad downunder dual battery tray. Been a bit slack and have left the second battery ride around on the inner guard. Should have done it a few months back!

Well, a lady decided to run in to the Prado today in a car park(and then attempted to drive off) and damaged the rear bar. Might be time to consider a Kaymar. Im thinking just the bar with no jerry can holder or tyre holder. Does anyone have any idea on pricing? Was thinking the new tjm rock sliders, but with todays little incident, I could be forced in another direction.
Have looked at a couple of other more affordable brands, but they dont seem to come with the tow bar.
I had one fitted to the 120 Series when I had it, (under similar circumstances), and thought the bar was great. The missus, however, wasnt keen on opening 2 latches and then the tailgate every time she wanted to access the rear of the car. This time, I might just trial the rear bar without the fittings and maybe consider the attachments at a later date. I reckon leaving the wheel on the tailgate and a single jerry can holder would be the go, but I dont think Kaymar make one.
Here is a photo of the 120 Series I used to own.

I phoned the local TJM store (Dandenong, Vic) last week and they tried to sell me the Powerful4x4 rock sliders. I did end up getting the Powerful4x4 ones, but not through TJM.

Thanks Winesy. Im assuming that is supply only and doesnt include the jerry can holder or wheel carrier?
