Hi Prado Pointers
I 've been floating around this forum for a while now. This forum has given me some great ideas and really useful information, so i thought it was long overdue that I introduce myself and share how my rig build up is taking shape.





At the moment I have just installed my dual battery system and a ARB compressor. I had the BFG's put on before delivery. This is my third 4WD, my first Prado. My last trucks were both Patrols.
So far I've travelled just over 6000km and this is by far the best 4wd so far.

I had a couple of photos from my compressor install. I have a petrol so i have a bit of space behind the charcoal canister on the passenger side of the engine bay.
Initially I was going to mount the compressor directly to the inner guard as many others have, but instead I thought I would use the two threaded holes on the inner guard to mount a bracket to spread the weight of the compressor.









It took quite a bit of fiddiling to get to this stage. The bracket
uses the existing two M8 holes and a 6mm hole on the inner
guard.

Final fitment check. Another member (sorry i carn't remember who) suggest using a
set of rubber feet under the compressor, so I thought I'd give it a try.
With the feet you hardly can hear the compressor running.

Nice looking Rig Dart.
Man that is a neat bracket for the compressor,rock solid.
Used the rubber shock mounts myself, directly onto the wheel arch and the backing plate.
They made mounting in a tight spot on the uneven guard possible.
Looking forward to seeing more of your mods in the future.
