Ok got the T Handles sorted, refer to this thread for details:
    http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...s-added/page50

Also, took the rig on it's first 4wd muck around last weekend. It got nice and dirty:

Problem was... I couldn't be bothered to wash it, but couldn't see out the mirrors , so took it down to the carwash in Glen Waverley. It's run by about 10 indians who do a brilliant job and charge peanuts...

    $20 later:

I hate the oily crap they put on the trim to make it look shiny. Ruins the trim in the long term (makes it fade faster) and actually collects dust quicker in the short term.

      Not bad for 20bucks though!

You cannot do better than a Redarc BCDC1220 dual battery setup around $350 on Ebay. Ticks all the boxes for me and I,ve worked with electrics for years.

Ok... so been away for work and got back this week. I ordered a CKMA12 compressor + hose kit which I'm picking up tomorrow.
Now, where's the best place to put it? Uner bonnet or under passenger seat? Anyone tried under the seat? does it fit?

Depends. Do you need it to be hard wired? I had one under the bonnet in my previous car, and I didn't like it, but because I had air lockers it stayed.
I like mine being in a bag inside the car, and I use it when I need to.

Nice start to a build thread you've got going here Loz... If you are looking at fridges, check out the IRONMAN equivalent. Same warranty as the Waeco and might be a little cheaper?

Ok... been away and busy for a while... but a few things have happened!

OME suspensions were put in and the ride has improved enormously, it's like driving my bed to work everyday...

                      Then came along the compressor!
Bought one of these bad boys from ARB together with the hose kit and the ARB pressure gauge for $303 the lot (bargain).

Install I was quoted $180, and when I recovered from the shock i attempted it myself. Read the ARB install guide on this forum and was sure I'd get half way through and be the bloke who walks back to ARB head bowed down with a bag of bits begging for help... however, after 6 hours of intensive car surgery, the compressor was installed and purring like a kitten!

One thing to note... getting the wiring loom through the rubber grommet was a pain so I devised a tool to make the job easier (sticky tapes the loom to a sharp pencil and pushed that through! Worked like a charm:

                      Here is the final outcome

Have tested it and it's lightning fast... 18 psi back up to 35 psi take like less than a minute... no scientific tests carried out yet, but when I do I'll post results!

                        Well done.

p.s was quickly scanning through your other photos of the spottie install, being lazy didnt read that the middle photo was 'during' the install. Must be half asleep still as I thought you finished off the LHS and had not noticed the angle! Being impatient thats the sort of oopsie I'd get caught out with!!

Lol, I'll be completley honest Michael, I wanted to place the thing under the seat to start off with, but couldnt be bothered running all the wires. Then the ARB guys said to put it in front of the RHS headlight, but couldn't find a spot to bolt it in where I would have access to put the nuts on the other side, so it ended up where it is now. ARB said that where I've installed it is where they would normally put the 2nd battery. But i figure with a good enough tray, I can put the battery behind the RHS head light and not have cracked guards.

In relation to having it turned with the nozzle inside, I didn't think of the mud component... I just wanted to show off the ARB sticker

It came in handy for the first time yesterday, one of my colleagues at work had a flat tyre, and I gladly pumped it back up... 10 psi to 32 psi in 45 seconds... i love this new toy

o.k i'll come clean now - I actually spun it around to show off the sticker as well (figured I should since I paid for quality!) but the bonus is the filter is protected...

Ok. I'm finally back to fill you all in on the happening of the last few months!

Now, finally got off my ass and uploaded the pics of the Suspension upgrade, went for the OME with soft shocks front and medium at the back. This was suggested to me by the ARB bloke. Not happy at all, and will be going hard and hard as soon as I get a chance. Are springs with 3,000km's on them worth anything??

All in all I got about a 30-35mm lift, which for $1,300 is not very much! Here are some flex pics:
