    The second photo of the inlet manifold... Is that where the EGR blanking plate goes?

      Chaser, how many ks did your car do before losing pumping pressure and what were the symptoms?

        Just shy of 200 and it was a pos to drive, little to f all power. Struggled to tow my unladen box trailer which weights 500kg tare. put the pump on and wow it went well for a bit, but now i think the head is stuffed too now as the temp gauge fluctuates under different loads which it shouldnt move at all.
        2005 Black gxl 1kz, Steinbauer chip, ome lift, arb delux bar, Lightforce genisis 210's, 30inch led light, tigerz roof rack, GME 3540 uhf, genuine towbar, custom spare wheel spacer, ors draws, drop slide, waeco, dual batteries, twin locked, st maxx tyres, winch.

        Soon to come-35's and longer shocks.

            New head rocked up today.. John (Roo) put me onto SMS Diesel Spares. Brand spanking new AMC head, cam, VRS kit, Head Gasket, Timing Belt, Head bolts etc...





            Just waiting on the turbo to turn back up now... They found issues with the core so it's now filled with Hi-Flow goodness

                Where does the rabbit bolt on???

                Hey Mitch. Did you get new manifold studs?
                Just check the head has got all the studs... mine was bare.
                Worth getting new ones mate.

                  How much if you don't mind disclosing Mitch? I am thinking of doing mine aswell...

                        G'day Chaser....

                        It's been a while since I posted in here and it's also been a while since I actually did any work on MUMSRIG. New house has taken priority. I think we're about 7 months on from when I first pulled her apart and she's finally back on the road!!

                        First thing I noticed was no more hunting... 2nd thing was ease of starting and the 3rd was how much more responsive it feels even though I'm currently running stock boost and no chip. It actually keeps it's speed and accelerates going up hills now LOL

                          Did a 350klm round trip yesterday to Tamworth and back to test her out and she drove beautifully...

                          The new DOMINATOR chip should come next week and then i'll put some boost into her and see how she goes

                          Should hopefully go alright especially with the hi-flow..

                            Looking good mate, how's the fox shocks holding up? I'm thinking once my billies give up the ghost I will change to some remote units.
