I'm pretty sure you can get that brand through SuperCheap and most AutoPro type stores Rob. I picked these up through a wholesaler in Perth though (much cheaper)...

We bought it 2nd hand off the original owners but I'm not 100% sure on the extended draw bar? Whats the over all length of yours?

The overall length of mine...........interesting question Mitch

I'll have to find a tape measure and check it over for ya

        • Hey Mitch, what do you think of the car DVR you got?
Value for money or would you buy a different one next time?
          Geoff

Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

For the money you can't go wrong. It's recording everytime we turn the accessories on and it hasn't missed a beat. The only thing that I don't necessarily like about it is it picks up a vibration type noise through the speaker especially on corrugations but thats just being picky...

I would buy another without hesitation.

I have the same one as Mitch and would agree with what he says - only complaint I have is that it periodically goes back to the default date and time (1/1/10 at 00:01) which is a pain especially if you display date/time in picture.

                • Went to Forster for the 1st time in many years last weekend.. Had a blast!! Weather was magic and the Jayco towed well. I changed the wheel studs to metric before we left and put the Prado rims off of the camper trailer onto it... Looks better now

                  • MUMSRIG gets a new set of boots on Saturday... Going for Nitto TrailGrapplers in the 265/70/17 variety... Tam wanted a set of Fuel matte black rims but was having difficulty in decided between two styles... They didn't have the correct size in stock and now she's changed her mind again LOL.

Anyways the tyres are in and I'll head to Sydney on Saturday to have them fitted up...

I'm hearing good reports on them but I'll wait and see..

Taleb Tyres on Princes Hwy Matt... They are SO QUIET compared to the Mickey T's and grippy as all buggery as Tam will atest to after the manoevre I made last night on the way back to Muso from Newie in order to dodge a Roo!

They are a bit taller than the old Mickey T's also as the MAXTRAX clipped the garage on the way in . It was no where near it before LOL

Tam wanted something quieter than the Mickey T's and I wanted something that still looked agressive as well as keeping a Mud Tyre. They also come up with some pretty good reviews and were $50 a tyre cheaper than the mickey T's. The Mickey T's are now on the Jayco...

                            • Finally fitted up some new Brake Rotors and pads to the front of MUMSRIG today... She was starting to get a decent pedal pulsation so she was more than due for a birthday.

Used the RDA Rotors and Pads so will see how they go. hey look nice LOL

Also fitted up the LED work lights I bought a while ago.

                              • I've also got a H4 55w HID high/low kit sitting here to wire up tomorrow and the front view 180 degree camera to fit up... I also spent a couple of hours setting up a new tune for the CHIP IT chip as we are heading to Bathurst on Friday with the camper.... Can't wait!!
