Ok so discovered this the other day.





One of the the 2nd battery tray mounts has ripped out of the inner skin on the wheel arch.

Any tips on the best way to approach a fix?

I'm guessing a strengthening plate would need to be welded / bolted over the rip (distributing the load) and the tray re-bolted to that?

Or maybe I'm better off trying to re-locate the 2nd battery into the rear cargo area to prevent any further issues .

I did the Tanami track and Gibb River road earlier in the year and I'm guessing the corrugations are to blame

Took Patch into ARB the other for some lovin and got the following done;

winch service (said it was FULL of mud and one of the worst they'd ever seen)
front air locker hose and diff fitting.
rear air locker seal in diff
bullbar refit with missing bolts replaced
front and rear lower control arms bushes
front left CV joint

Felt a bit better after all that ;-) (apart from the CC hit!)

Cleaning the MAF sensor today for hopefully a little better performance.

oh how i wish i had a hot wire AFM sensor to clean on my rig
