Daz's 2010 Kakadu is getting some lovin

Those Covers look the Shiz... Daz. We are taking delivery of our VX 150 TD in Bathurst in a couple of weeks, and some decent Lambswool covers are first on my list. I'm flying home to Perth around once a month at the moment, so no problem picking them up in Perth and Bringing them back over to NSW. How much did they set you back if you don't mind be asking, and do you have a Contact Name / Number for us?

They are from Prestige sheepskin in malaga on 9249 1699 cost was $590 for the pair including fit. They also put a lining into to covers so that the skin doesn't rub on the leather causing wear to the seats...the lining is normally about $30 but they through it in and mine are the combo's which is wool on top but polyester on the back and sides that works out a fair bit cheaper. They take about 1 week to make.

Granted the seats are a different shape n all but those covers are miles ahead of my aries covers for my 120 grande...they look great

They look similar to the ones I've got, but rather than say Prado mine have the Toyota logo - they are damn comfy seat covers though and fit great! Certainly muffle the farts too, its just a shame they don't take the smell away...

Car gos in to TJM tomorow for bar, spots, snorkel and Kaymer wheel spacer....can't wait.

Well I picked up the car yesterday from TJM with the T13 bar, Hid spotties and snorkel on...VERY happy with it all. After looking at heaps of forum pictures of the bar I can say it looks so much better in the flesh. The snorkel has zero wind noise and can't been seen while driving BUT has a light growl when you drive hard I love the noise but hate the fact I drive harder now..

Mods to date are:

Bilstein shocks all round with lovell springs up front 45mm front lift
Rear self level bracket spaced to lift rear 45-50mm with bilsteins
Cooper Zeon LTZ 285x60x18's
Kaymar rear wheel spare spacer
Brown davis front bash plate
good tint
Airtec snorkel
Prestige sheepskins short wool fronts
T13 colour coded bar
Britax Xray 50w Hid 200 series spoties
rola roof racks to hold ARB Awning & Maxtrax

Future mods:

Dual batteries
gearbox bash plate
explore supercharging

MOST IMPORTANTLY to get out and enjoy it.

Thread needs more supercharger. ...And some personalized plates while your at it.

Agreed...very happy with it and its nice and snug up against the car. Thanks for your help and answering my questions...Its good following someone else's path.
