    Sounds good.
Are they parts that any suspension shop will be able to buy or do they need to be fabricated?

You will have to do the rear washers yourself to trick the rear the fronts is all straight forward gear.

        Hi Kakdaz,
I love your rig mate, I have a new VX on the way and going to do similar things to you. Prob going to go a black ARB bar though.
Question - I am looking at the Cooper LTZs, are you happy with them? Or have you used the AT3s before? Would you get the LTZs again?

        Cheers,

I do like the tyres mate there very good off road sand included but make a little bit of noise (not bad) and since the car has been lifted they can JUST touch the upper control arms, not enough to mark the tyre but it just rubs some paint off. I would say the LTZ's are a bit better off road with the AT3's a bit better on road. I wanted the extra tyre height of the LTZ's (25mm) but it came with the extra width being a 285. Saying all that they look great and do work damn well off road so I would go them again.

Do you think the LTZ's would have fit without the lift? (You mention they just touch the control arms.)

They actually didn't touch at all pre lift it's only been since the lift they touched...When lifting a Prado the top of the tyres move marginally inward but even post lift 1mm extra clearance would be enough to never touch.

Looking great Daz! How is the fuel economy with the extra weight of the bar? Bar is next on my list too!

I'd love to explore supercharging too. That would make it the perfect vehicle!

                  Cheers, Sam.

So far no real difference in economy that I can tell. Saying that I am experimenting with fuels at the moment the standard unleaded felt so sluggish compared to 95 octane.

I thought the V6 required a minimum 95 octane Dazz? I've been experimenting with e10 of late. No noticeable difference to performance and too early to tell if economy is worse. Stay tuned.

                      Cheers, Sam.

The Fj (with same motor) states 95 only on the fuel cap but the Prados don't. I can tell you so far mine has done
91 octane 767ks used 128litres = 16.68 L/100 (small stop starts around town no freeway ks) performance was shocking
95 octane 761ks used 129 litres = 16.95 L/100 (same small stop start trips no freeway) performance 100 times better
98 octane BP Ulltimate 2oo ks into this tank so far performance no better than the 95...will report back.

Also put on the CSA wheels I bought for it months ago....jury is still out wether I love them or not, so far I just like the fact it doesn't blend in with every other Prado "thoughts ????"

I've run two tanks of e10 through mine now and I reckon although it's about 10% cheaper than 95, it's also 10% less efficient. I'll be swapping back to 95 next tank and sticking with it I think. I've tried 98 a few times and never noticed a difference in either performance or economy so can't justify the price difference.

Love black wheels and I like the design, just not sure about the silver highlights. I'd love to get some nice black rims for mine but just haven't been able to find any I love yet. Still toying with the idea of painting mine.

                          Cheers, Sam.

Same I do like black wheels I may end up painting out the silver highlights on these not too sure yet.
