Aaawwww G'man .... sorry ya missed the cut mate ... and it wasn't just because of the lack of accessories ... but if ya need me to write to the missus and explain that the only reason ya missed out was because ya didn't have enough stuff ... I'm more than happy to do it
2009 may have so many contenders that I have to do a state by state calendar ... Sorry Strahan ... that's only for states with more than one Pradopointer
Cheers
Chippy

Well it took me long enough. But here are some 1/2 decent pics of my new ride. Oh you know.... it gets me from A to B.......

I picked it up only a week before I went to Tasmania in the midst of a very hectic time, about 20th November. I blasted out to the dealer from work. Nodded at all the right times when the woman was telling me what the knobs did and then blasted back to work so I wouldn't get blasted by the boss. Somwhere amid the chaos, I managed to get some Lightforce 240 blitz's fitted. I locked it in the garage and blasted off to Tasmania, fairly reluctantly at that stage I might add. Got back from Tassie and fitted some Hilux washer jets, Headlight protectors, bonnet protector, and whacked in the Sandgrabba mats. A thoughtful family member got me a nice Toyo rear cargo mat for Chrissy too. To date I've only just ticked over the thousand K's. A sorry state of affairs.......
Toyo mucked up the clear coat protection. Like they didn't put it on. The guy cleaning it up 1/2 an hour before I got there to pick it up realised that the clear coat, underbody rust protection and fabric protection hadn't been done. So I drop it in to Toyo before Christmas on a Wednesday and they tell me to come back the next evening to pick it up. I arrive there the next night and as soon as I get there I notice it's nowhere in sight. "Ominous" I thought. Sure enough I sat there for 1/2 an hour while they tried to "find" it. I wasn't in the best mood at that stage. I was half expecting them to appear saying "errrr we uuuuhhhhhmmmm sold it to some bloke.........." Apparently it was finally located in the Defense Pak workshop where it was locked inside. Someone had forgotten to collect it. Someone had also forgotten to call me and save me the trip out to the dealer. Anyhow I let them know about my displeasure, but what can you do. Eventually I picked it up the next evening after work. I'm glad to be done with the new car dept I can tell you.
But this is a quantum leap for me. All the cars I've ever owned have been well used, full of rattles, and always had the Police giving me a second look with the yellow sticker book at the ready. You can tell that these have been very well engineered, and put together. I couldn't believe that I was actually doing 110 the other day because there wasn't enough road noise, my butt wasn't vibrating off and I could actually hear the stereo. And the best part is I can now zoom past frikkin hippies doing 90 in their smoke filled hippy van with ease! Good piece of work. Gives me hope for humanity..........# 2007 D4D GX # Full Privacy Tint # Flinders Red # 2 x HID LightForce 240 Blitz # ARB Winch Bar # Alloy Rims # Hilux Washer Jets # Stebel Nautilus Compact Truck Horn # ARB Alloy Roof Rack # ARB Dual Battery System # Charcoal Rough Country Canvas Seat Covers # Suspension:Autocraft Bilstein Shocks/Struts & Ridepro Coils # L.E.D Side Marker Lights # ARB Onboard Air # Pirelli Scorpion LT ATR 265/70's #--Custom 3"exhaust---

Coloured and White! Next there'll be a militant KKK arm of Pradopoint. Coloured VS non coloured, may the best colour win! Already got one scratch courtesy of some militant woman with a militant studded handbag or something similar. I rest knowing she will never make it past St Peter at the pearly gates.
Hiding is right. When I picked it up there were salesmen with prospective customers hovering about pointing at it and eyeballing it with drool coming out. Definitely time to get it out of there.
Keep telling yourselves that coloured Prado's get stuck easier if it gives you peace at night. As I travel through the shiny Flinders Red dunes I shall disappear before your very eyes! I might throw a rope in if I feel benevolent..........
