Joey... your avatar picture doesn't appear to work... is it me or you? The beach shot would make an excellent new one IMHO. 8)

lakes, the rims are the optional Toyota Phoenix wheels here in Australia. When I bought the car in February I wanted another 4 wheels for my off road trailer/spares and the dealer found he could do the optional alloys for a better price than GX steel wheels. I paid A$1050 for 5 alloys. I fit a steel spare off road to give me an extra wheel for car or trailer and I don't need to worry about my home made axe/spade holder which bolts ouside the spare scratching the alloy wheel.

                            Joey,
Where did you run the power to get it outside and to the roof ??

THE power comes from the lights .through the rack ,.the we ran the cable neatly tin the channel in the roo where the roof rack mounts covered and sealed it back up down in the back door and through inside panels ,along floor through the tracks along the doors and into engine through fire wall....
sounds alot but was easy and no wires are visable..very neat and tidy.....

we took our time to get it real neat...very happy with the finished product and the lights on the rack realy set my rig apart.

You asked about the roof bars.

                                Sorry, they're standard Toyota bars.

114cm of track without the end caps on.

It's a basic aluminium extrusion. I'm sure you'd find it if you checked with a few aluminium/metal suppliers. Probably comes in a standard 6m length.

                                Regards

                                I have the Thule 762.
                                They are 135cm long

They are 30mm x 20mm with a 10mm slot about 15cm from each end, so they can be easily centered.
So easy to make, to just the length you want.

My ideal length would be about 140cm.
