It looks pretty capable as an offroader... And I noticed it has a number plate!! :shock:
That was the wife driving and me navigating. We had to stay close to the wall on the left hand side and as a result picked up a small scratch on the RF corner of the ARB bar. Nothing serious and definately worth it. I'll tell you the chaps from the Toyota Land Cruiser club are serious and the live for recoveries and challenges. "Chicken run" is not in their vocubulary. Can't wait for the next trip.

Is that what used to be called the 'beer run' track? (Drops back onto the main road that leads out to the picnic area?) Haven't done that one for a while......

It is the powerlines track just off the State mine gully road
How to find this piece of track:
We came down from the North on the Blackfellows hand trail in the Newnes state forrest. About 2.2km past the Bungleboori picnic area, the road splits between the old Bells line of road towards the Zig Zag railway line and the the State mine gully road towards Lithgow. Take the State mine Gully road for about 1.5km and join the power lines for about 2km before rejoining the State mine gully road again just before entering Lithgow. The challenging section was towards the end of that powerlines track.
