Hi all. New to this forum and i am enjoying the read, heaps to keep me busy.
I bought my 2005 GX TD Auto in Sept. '09. It already had a ECB heavy Duty Bullbar, spotties (not real good but better than nothing) EARPS (seems to be working, no rust as yet), rock slider side steps and after market cruise control.
Since then i have added: TJM Ox 9500lb winch, Rhino Roof racks and Luggage rack, Kaymar rear bar with dual jerry can holder and spare wheel carrier, Black Widow dual draws, Platinum Drop Slide, Waeco 60lt fridge (with beer), DP chip, GME TX 3100 UHF, Dual Battery system, Pioneer Stereo, TJM sump guard. I have also had the muffler removed and replaced with a straight pipe. Sounds very beefy and a great turbo whistle!!! It also has BFG AT's 265/65/17.
Still to come is rear air locker (maybe front as well ??$$$$), Beaudesert 2 3/4 inch exhaust (dump pipe included) with sports muffler, Mickey Thompson MTZ 265/70/17 just in time for my trip to WA and NT next year and some better spotties.
My wife sighs every time i talk about "modding" the Prado:-):-)
Cheers
Richard
