Update on the 150. Going strong at 8000kms and seems to get stronger week by week. The SB unit is great and then Prado pulls really well with the camper on. Averaging about 9.6 litres per hundered going too and from work (average speed each tank around 50kph). The cooper tires are wearing well, haven't rotated them yet and need to catch up on that little task. The suspension has settled abit. The ride is nice, but the height has let me down alittle. I plan to fit some spacers to the front and rear springs to get back the 15mm it has settled down too.

A mate is going to help me rough out a false floor for the cargo area next weekend I hope. I plan to fit this and get the cargo barrier back in ASAP. I reckon I will make some drawers like Samo has and fit them over winter. Overall after a few months of ownership, I am very impressed..

Well as luck would have it, I spent all weekend checking out DIY rear drawers set ups. I purchased some 17mm ply for the baseplate on Saturday and had plans for a basic false floor set up with a basic fridge slide only. I was shying away from a full pair of drawers with the slide on the top, as the wife and kids wouldn't be able to rear into the Engel. This afternoon I got a call from a mate who is moving to Tasmainia and was cleaning out his shed.. He asked if I wanted a fridge slide..

Scored this brand new Platinum drop slide for $350. It's never been installed, just sat in his shed for a project in his 120 Prado, th at he never started. Pretty happy, guess I am building a full set of drawers now !

Have you bought any carpet yet. I picked up some of the sane stuff that they use on the Drifta Drawers and worked out around $9 per metre.
