      Rob, your truck is looking very tuff...definitely not soft.

        Had a spare 15 mins today so i thought i would do a quick and cheap mod on the rear wheel, after all i pay a lot for the wheels so no point hiding them.

        No that looks better.

            definently looks better without the wheel cover, those wheels look to good to cover.

              the 120 series wheel covers looked nicer ! do your aftermarket wheels still allow you to keep the cover on rob?

                Hi Ray, no issues with the aftermarket wheels and the 275 Tyres, I just decided I liked the look with it off versus on. After all good looking wheel no point hiding it.

                  This is my best mod yet and so easy!!!! Mounting the IPad to the dash.

                  You will need an Ipad case that the pad slides into and has a fold over front cover.

                  Get some of these they are command picture hanger strips, they mash together to form a good strong bond.

                  Add two to the top of the the dash and i also shut the air cond vents below.

                  Do the same to the Ipad cover.

                  Mount to top of the dash, the strips mash together, very strong.

                    lastly insert ipad and turn on your mapping.

                    Still to be tested on and offroad yet, the only issues i can see is the pad jumping off the lip it sits on at the bottom, i will just add too more tabs to the bottom. I will leave the tabs on the Ipad case and pull the ones of the car when not in use.

                    I have a bury system 9 cradle, I like it mounted up high so u don't have to take your eyes away from the road at all.

                          Gday Hutch,

                          top mod with the Ipad, I did find with my Ipad 2 3G out of mobile service areas the GPS was very slow to respond, I ended up getting one of these which is fantastic and you are welcome to try if you like;

                            Looks like a great simple solution. I would be interested to see how they hold up to the heat.

                            Cheers Matt

                                The car sat in the sun most of the last couple of days, so far do good. The good thing is they are 6 bucks for about 8 strips so I just carry a couple of spares.
