    Hisham's 2006 VX "

    guess it is time to start my prado build up:

    2006 4.0L auto ,bought Aug. 2010 with 160,000 Km on the clock.
    this is my first Toyota ever , previously i was a proud Jeep owner & fan


    then a friend placed an offer for the jeep , so i was looking for a bigger 4x4 so i got this ,


    and while was looking i found the prado , but her previous owner wouldn't let her go till after 3 months , and i wasn't sure he will keep his word so i made up my mind and got the pajero , and waited for 3 months till the dream came true
    here is how she looked , although it is VX it came standered without any extras,no cruise control ,no fog light , no alloy wheels, no roof rails, no leather seats, just dual climate control



    then i took her for a quick ride

    Good to see you starting a build up thread mate, you have a nice list of accessories so far.
    Like the pictures of the VX in action, and love those endless dunes.

                      my prado came without fog lights , so got myself an after market Prado fog lights , i knew they look the same but will not work the same as the original ones , but i thought why pay alot for Toyota ones then remove them when getting front bar .

                      but i did get original Toyota fog light switch ,

                        i got the decal from Castle Hill Toyota , the guy there is very helpful , from memory it was 18 AUD each without taxes.
