My Prado 150

Well it has been ages since posting here, mainly due to work keeping me very busy.
So, i finally took delivery of my 2012 GXL Diesel.

So here is the current breakdown:

2012 Silver GXL Diesel Prado:

Fully tinted
2 inch bilsteins and king springs
BFG A/Ts
TJM Bullbar
TJM 9500 lb winch and rope
Lightforce Genisis HIDs 50W
Snorkel
Custom Sheep skin covers on front seats

Coming in a few weeks:

ARB Touring Tent / annex
ARB Awning
Drifta Drawers / inbuilt table
TJM Dual Battery

Are they the same rims as SIK's (8608) Prado?

Yeah same as those ones. I really like them. Not sure about offsets though.

Well, a few bucks have been spent ova the last week or so. Got the touring rack, ARB touring tent and awning on, also got a half spread spot cover for the lightforce.
Ordered and waiting for set of Drifta drawers and dual battery going on later this week with dual sockets in rear.
Going to fit compressor under bonnet with pump outlet on bullbar as well, all for heading north next weekend, across to normanton, then up through karumba and burke development road (providing its open).

Smakb, only nice and shiny cause i look after it. Its not a soccer mums car. It will no doubt will be very dirty come this time next week. haha
Ghost, yep love those rims, have to get off my ass and see what i can do about them.
Looks like i have to wait to fit my compressor now, too busy and ARB too busy as well. Would fit myself but prefer it to be done professionally. Anyway, off to download some pics. Thanks for the comments guys.

Back again

Hi again,
Been awhile since i last posted so heres the updates. Had dual battery, rooftop and awning put on and threw in a set of drifta drawers, they are great, however, decided to go a different way with my camping so am selling the rack and tent. As for trips, did the burke development road from townsville to karumba to cairns. Great drive, roads were pretty good and only just recently come back from the cape. Had 10 days off work so said bugger it and went up. Went via Battle Camp road, Cape Melville and Tele track (didnt do nolans). Had a blast and didnt damage the car at all, even at Palm creek.

Currently planning on steel side steps and saving for kaymar rear bar, also a new set of rims with some MTZs.
So thats the update, pics to follow once i resize.

Oh and just to finish up, I am extremely impressed with the off-road capability of the 150. Up in the cape I didnt get bogged once or need any snatching out of some pretty knarly areas. Love the low range in it. As an idea of how i ran on the corrugated roads, I lowered my pressures to 32 psi (run 40 onroad) and sat on 80-90 km/h. Handled like a dream.
