Jesus, when I first opened the page I said to my wife CHECK OUT THIS MINT GREEN PRADO!!! (Top Photo)

I was thinking wow that's different!

Unfortunately there was bad light in the factory because of the crappy cold (14 degree) day we had here in Brissy.

Mint green would NOT be my choice of car colours!

The ARB r not serviceable, that's why I went with the TJM plates as they are,

Actually I must correct myself as TJM don't do KDSS plates yet for the 150, Jeffers has a VX, TJM only option on GXL n GX.

I'm not 100% sure about the access to the service points, but to be honest the Toyota service people can work that out!

My ARB UVP was $450

I looked at the TJM ones, but as Hutch said, they didn't offer ones to suit KDSS

If by service points your referring to access to sump plug, I beg to differ. I just fitted ARB bash plates today an there's a cut out to access the sump plug.

Thanks Jeff, I might give ARB a call and find out! I cant emagine they would make these and not be able to gain access to service area's? They make them for the KDSS at no extra cost wich is unusual? Every one else looks at the KAKADU badge and UP goes the price! Ha Ha

Contacted ARB today and got a reply RE service point access. The guy I spoke to said that the ARB plate will need to be dropped to gain access! The factory plate also needs to be dropped to gain access, so there would be no difference really?
I still like the ARB Plate.

The parking sensors are not affected in any way at all.

I was a little worried about that myself, but all is good!

Well as today was a bit wet, I decided to do a bit of work on the Prado...

Today was the fitting of the Outback Ideas Tow/Recovery Points.

It took about an hour to do, just a bit awkward laying on my back under the car.

And I saved myself $195.00 that was quoted to have them fitted, what a rip off!!
