Agree, jeff change the rims, that rim looks good in silver buy not black.

I dunno, mine are black and they look good. Mind you mine have been 2 pack painted not powdercoated so have a high gloss finish.

I picked up a trailer this afternoon.

Its a 7x4 Heavy Duty off road galvanised and painted trailer with 1400kg ATM with electric brakes. It also has a 65 litre water tank, battery box with Anderson plug connection, 2 x jerry can holders and a gas bottle holder.

I plan to mount the Hannibal Roof Top Tent on top of the ladder racks when camping, but I will also use it as an everyday trailer when not camping.

I finally had a chance to throw the Hannibal RTT up on the roof of the Prado so I could check it out...

As mentioned I plan to get it up on top of the box trailer, but its always good to see it on the roof for touring trips such as The Cape.

Enjoying a few Corona's during todays beautiful winters day...



It took me about 20mins to completely set it up (first time). I should be able to get this to down around 10 mins.
It was about 10 mins to pack back up.

All in all, very happy!

That thing is massive! Wow now I can understand the attraction. On a side note do you have enough wheel travel on the trailer? Looks quite low in the pics.

I have thought about moving the axle to the underside of the springs. This is not a huge mod but will lift the trailer about 3-4 inches.

The tent is a great size. The annex is large enough to put a couple of camp beds for the kids to sleep in, or use it as a change room etc...

Might be easier just to get different set springs. So is there a floor with the annexe? I have never really looked at roof top tents because they struck me as too small but there is heaps of space in that one.

There is a floor in the annex. Its a vinyl floor that just attaches to the walls with 2" wide strip of velcro.

The floor is a bit messy in the pic because it was just a quick test set up, but this can be pulled tight.
