i couldn't see you normal reverse lights the other day.

night have to add some small LED pods into the rear bar on the ends.
i need you to chase up a roof rack for me Steve

        • Which roofrack are you looking at? I am quite impressed with the Tracklander 1800 x 1200. Just need to sort out mounting on the NS rails.

              • Better get an awning fitted as well if you intend to go for a drive with Steve, as he hasn't got one yet!

He's just fitted a roof rack and awning to my 120, damn good!

about the kaymar, i creased the l/h wing at Palm Creek in May last year on my first 150 Prado, it folded easily without much of a hit, more of a rest on and slide, with the one i have now i don't have that problem, and i think it looks better and suits the Prado look i'm after.

                  Cheers Derek

Hey mate....I promise just one more question......lol. On your previous 150 with the Kaymar rear wheel carrier did you have the brackets that get bolted to your chassis to give those side wings support?

Derek will tell you on his previous 150 with the kaymar, that even just a slight lean on will bend it. i think they make the wings soft enough for fitters to shape around the 150 easier when fitting. the wings are quite flexible, and i can't see the benefits of the extra weight of the whole set up in general.

i do not believe the kaymar is worth the extra dollars, but if you prefer the look then go for it. the kaymar also hangs lower all round, so it has to be steel as there might be more of a chance of getting hung up. (unless you go for a 4" lift)

hopefully Derek can get some shots of the rig out bush with his week off. too many driveway shots.

PS. his prado hasn't even done more than 4000km yet!!!
The quote I got from ARB. (Kaymar). Was $4150. That's colour coded with camera and senses. Which is basically the same as Derek
