Seat covers are in, looks real good with the prado name badge on them, next up the colour coded bull bar. Got the Rhino sports bars from my old Prado but going to paint them black to tie in with the factory rails.

My wife Helga picked up the Prado from Oppy Lock today and gave me a ring (i'm at the mine site), she said the bullbar looks really good and the colour matches the Prado perfectly. Will post pictures when back in Darwin, and also sort out the winch control plug and isolator for the winch after reading about winch isolators on another thread. 1 more week then home aye

Had a message from L&S suspension this arvo to give him a call. All the parts must be here for the custom suspension but will give him a call tomorrow on shift change, but it looks like next week when i'm home the big lift to the Prado. Steve from Oppy Lock has kindly loaned me 2 x 33" tyres with 0 offset to see how that size will fit and look. Talk about being excited, this week at work will go so slow.

Got home last night and checked out the colour coded bar this morning and the paint shop has done a good job matching the colour, i will post pictures this arvo, the custom suspension gets done tomorrow, then check out the set up around Adelaide River and see how it handles the rough stuff.

Just measured the suspension and the fronts are now after the bull bar, winch, and dual batteries is 743mm front and 780mm rear, from factory with those accessories has dropped the front down abit.

Your Prado looks awesome. Headed out to l and s to check it out after work, but just missed you.

Definitely can't wait for the 33's now.

Gotta be the tallest 150 on stock wheels let a lone with the 33's.

Let me know when you wanna try the 33's out.

                          Geezus! She's tall now!

Makes the rim/tyres look like trainer wheels!

Do you have a list of the suspension parts put in? I can see Bilstein shocks and some aftermarket upper arms.

just a side note, the Bilsteins are actually custom lengths also.

I don't think they will be a part directly available off the shelf around the country.

The trip yeaterday to test the suspension was good, but its pretty dry in the bush so very little mud around.
The suspension on the open road is firm and true with minimal body roll just as i like it. On the dirt road with corrigations it soaked up the bumps well, wasn't harsh and didn't skip at all, a real pleasure to drive.
In the rougher stuff the extra clearance was noticable compared with my previous 150 prado with a 2" lift, this prado was so much better getting thru washouts and the like.
1 bad thing that will require a modification is with it being close to 4 " lift is the mudflaps are now not long enough and will be even worst with 33" tyres. They are acting like the earlier 150 prado type with mud etc getting on the front door and rear guard. At lease its an easy fix
