    Finally decided to do a rig build for mine.. missed not having one for over a year now.

    I'll try and get this up to speed. So here we go.....

    Purchased: Aug 2011
    Model: V6 Grande

    Year: 2004
    Colour: Silver

    145,000 KMs on the clock, factory bull bar and usual Grande bits..

    Start of the never ending mod list...

    Started the mods with the controversial "ebay steel winch bull bar" and 12000Lbs winch (Sep 2011)

              Looking good. That multimedia unit fits nicely and from the photo looks a better finish to the factory one. What brand is it? And how hard was it to modify the surround to make it fit?

                It's a "No Brand" unit, here's the link. Got it for $360
                I had to cut the face plate across as per the pic but it wasn't hard.
                Used a hot steak knife and a metal ruler to keep it straight...
                If all go bad you can get a new panel for $180 from Toyota (Special order though)

                I did this coz tilt wasn't working in my Toyota unit and for more functions...
                Not one of the best mods I've done It's slow to respond when GPS card is in the slot
                but big screen, Bluetooth, reverse camera and TV adds up...

                  Oh yeh, seems easy enough. Shame it's slow cause of all the no name brand's out there it's probably one of the best looking ones once installed, plus you get a good size screen.
