Picked them up but havnt fitted yet. Probably wont do it till through the week now. Just dived in home for 5 mins then out again then out again all day tomorrow lol...........Will let you know how I go, going by your instructions should be shit easy.........Cheers Steve
It is much easier then pulling of the under bonnet lining and fiddling with clips, Just be steady handed and you wont scratch the bonnet and you will love how easy it is.
I feel your pain with the weekend, this is my first weekend where i am not getting in a car and driving anywhere for months and god its good! Although i'm not 'relaxing' so to speak i am crossing jobs off that i enjoy doing so it is MY relaxation! Have a good day!

I gave the Prado a wash today after its trip last weekend to the Barrington Tops and i think i bought half of the place home with me. never the less it looks nice and shiny again.
One horror moment i had was when i was standing on the side step on the passenger side washing the roof when i noticed a head of pop rivets on the awning were broken and there was only 2 out of 10 holding it onto the aluminium track that is bolted to the roof racks. When i finished washing the car i replaced all the broken rivets with larger gauge ones but will be vigilant with it from now on.
Here some pics of it for the fun of it, in the first pic i was playing with the miniature setting, it makes it look more like a toy car (sorta) but i like the effect.

Did your Prado come with that center wheel cover?

with ARB Catalog, with TJM add ons!
Cheers butane. I've been taking a lot from your build.
Cfryback - yes, the grandes come with both the centre one and the full cover but the full one doesn't fit with the muddies and I like to see the chunky tyre.

This is the 2nd incident of the rivets in the awning failing that I've heard of. 1st one was from my colleague with an ARB awning. I will look at replacing the rivets on mine (Oztrail) with bolts before it happens. I guess aluminium, rivets and vibrations don't mix.
Yeah it's crazy Andrew, I'm so glad it didn't fal of while I as up at Barrington. I'm not sure how easy it will be to change it to bolts as they may interfere with the tracking bolts in the bal but I guess it could work.
As for the wheel cover, when you see a grande driving around with the full cover flag them down and see if you can buy it off them, they probably don't realise it's even on there.

There brilliant jhiace, no noise, smooth swipe, and at high freeway speeds they don't buffer around like my factory ones did. Well worth the $$ I think....Cheers Steve
They are very good Steve, driving down the freeway they are quiet as and don't miss a drop.
I received and fitted today my BlackVue DR500GW-HDWiFi in car camera today. Pretty impressed with the limited use i have had with it so far but will be good now for the added security.

Well i haven't done alot (read anything) to the Prado for many months now, after taking on a new job i was away for 3 months doing training and barely drove it so the love was lost. Ive just spend a few days away camping with family and it made me realise just how good and already well equipped the prado is.
So i will be getting back into it, ive also decided i want to install a bullbar now..
