I then headed to the front, to fit the dual battery tray.

I got the Outback Accessories tray, which fits the 150v6 and the FJ.

It requires unbolting the power steering reservoir mount, and unbolting the air con bracket.

There is a position for both to mount to the side of the tray.
The air con was easy, it's very flexible, guessing that's different to the Diesel models,
And the reservoir was fairly flexible as we'll.
Both only moved over roughly 25mm.

    Fits very snugly.
There's the 4 bolts thru the base into the factory points, plus 2 holes to drill in the side wall, which will be part of tomorrow's job.

The Optima D34 fits quite tight, there's not actually the right amount of room to fit the battery tie down hooks, so I'll need to alter them a little.

It's only taken me a year, but I've finally finished the side panels for the rear draws.
I'd delayed it until I sorted out all the extra wiring I wanted to run, but
Then never got around to finishing them off.

Got the dual battery monitor mounted to the side of the centre consol,
Doesn't get in the way, and I can read it if needed.

Are putting the second battery in position I had to move the air compressor,
So with some help I made a simple bracket to mount it to the drivers wheel arch -
            using existing nuts already there.

It's pretty tight, but I can easily get to the air hose connection.

Mounted the compressor switch to the right side.

Also mounted the Redarc remote controller and LED indicator just below it.
And yes I can see the light thru the steering wheel when driving.

Changed the rear light, from a single to double,
Great for finding things in the dark.

Changed out the high beam to HID

Started out with 70 Watt ballasts,
But I've since changed then to 50 Watts.

I'd like to have put the ballasts down in front of the radiator, but
Really didn't have the time to pull the whole front grill off
May still do it sometime down the track

Just prior to Xmas in the Auto1 sales I scored a Rhino Platform at 30% off.
Dead simple to install, the instructions are very easy to follow.

I also fitted up some 7 inch light bars to the platform, 1 to each side above the front doors, and 2 to the rear.

Currently the lights are controlled via the switchboard in the rear passengers side pocket, but I'm looking for a 4 way remote unit so I can control all the external lights via the one controller.

I've had the 4000's on for awhile, but finally fitted a decent ballast and quality globes to them.
Running 70watt HID with the H 1 bulb from Pro Vision

Ballasts are too big to hide inside the unit so fitted them up under the bull bar.

The LED light bar is very handy at lighting up the road just in front of you.
I was looking to play with the fog lights, change them to LED, but don't need to.

Got a Tigerz11 Grande 12,000 Lbs winch, which a few people on here have and haven't had any complaints.
Also bought a large hawse to fill the hole in the bullbar.

Then I bought a factor 50 winch connector. Great bit of gear.

Controller got dropped in between the spotlights until I work on a compact version to hide inside the engine bay. Thinking of running a line to mount the plug on the drivers side of the bullbar. Haven't really figured it out yet.

Purchased Craig's TraxRax to mount up the Maxtrax.
They fit up nice and easy to the Rhino Platform, and pretty easy to take the Maxtrax off to use.
