G'day Andrew, no worries mate I've delt with them twice and can highly recommend them for their quality of work and service.
As an example I had some banging going on the right rear corner which occurred just after a run into Kalbarri Nat park to show the
missus Natures window and the road was heavily corrugated.
When I booked the prado in for the polyairs I mentioned it to them and they checked it out for me as I couldn't find where it was
coming from, turns out that there was a small rock in the chassis rails and the cargo barrier may have been loose they got it sorted
and no banging going on anymore.
cheers,
Chappy.Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.

G'day cam,
Thank's mate, yeah they look really good and I had to wash them last week after getting them covered in mud.:-D
The ladder isn't too bad it does catch occasionally but we don't have as many trees up here as you do down south and has added some minor protection to that side of the vehicle when it took the brunt of a poor judgement call by me a few months ago, avoided panel damage to that quarter.Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.

Yesterday I had 5 x BFG AT 11 245/70/17's fitted to the prado and then took it for spin to see how different the handling would be compared to the Grandtreks,
I was fortunate to have a mixture of bitumen (approx 160Km's) and Gravel (approx 70Km's) and a change of weather (it p1$$ed down).Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.

Do you thing there's any value in changing to larger rims so you can fit the 265 tyre fitted to the GXL?

G'day Redsand, The tyre's are pretty good I'm still readjusting to them as I'm used to the softer AT20s.
The BFGs being a LT construction means that ride is slightly harsher compared to the softer side walled AT20s but an adjustment of the tyre pressures should compensate, secondly the more aggressive tread pattern tends to throw stones up a lot more that the less aggressive AT20s on the other hand what little mud I have encounted the tyres are a big improvement over the AT20s as they don't seem to clog up with mud as much as the ATs, I have as yet to encounter any large muddy sections as we haven't had any really decent periods of consistant rain (I'm eagley waiting) and with AT20s on the gravel the vehicle felt like it was floating alittle when there was a lot of loose stuff.
Road holding and handling on bitumen is very good and to me at least in heavy rain they handled the conditions well,as far as upgrading to the 265 size
that's a long term ie after these tyres have worn down past their useful tread depth. Going from past experience with the larger tyres and wheels on a former vehicle it proberley would do particulary if you add a fair bit of extra weight to the vehicle as the 245s would end up being overloaded.

The last few weeks I've finally got around to fitting or getting some accumulated gear fitted, last break I fitted Tin's shock guards and they went on pretty
easy.Took about 3/4's of an hour due to a lot of stuffing around by me and a couple of bolts that was starting to round off.
and also fitted Tins transfer/actuator guard aswell.

I got Tins's UVPs fitted yesterday when I took the Prado in for its service.
I also tried to get a set of Roadsafe recovery points fitted at the same time unfortunately they don't fit with the Toyota bar.
A little miffed over that as I was given the impression that they were compatable, lokks like a new bar next year!.Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.
