After many phone calls and emails between myself and Cal from "CalOffroad" to get the new suspension nailed this time, I am happy to report they've definitely nailed it! Cal really goes the extra mile and ran everything by the engineers from both dobinsons and bilstien to ensure the final result would suit my specific requirements.

So today i had the lift, UCA's and diff drop kit fitted. I was very nervous after splashing more $ at suspension but first impressions.... Wow! How do they get this thing to ride so comfortable without compromising height and handling!! I'm stoked!

Here is a quick photo from this arvo...

I'll try grab some more tomorrow. Really need a wheel alignment and I'll take her for a good drive.

Just wondering if you have had a chance to run your vehicle over a weighbridge yet?

I was keen on fitting a rear bar until I realised how close to GVM I was without it!

Here are a few photos, unfortunately a bit overexposed on the camera so my post editing ruined them a little.

Makes me nervous spending this amount of $ to be honest mate while trying to save for a house and so on, especially on the suspension again and this time a lot more $ on it. Hopefully it will all be worth it with a few big trips coming up (simpson/alice/central qld in Apri and kimberly or cape next year).

Ok i've done the following the past 2 weeks, also travelled 2000 kms in the process.

Drifta Drawers with MSA fridge drop slide - Fitted
    Kaymay rear bar - Fitted
    GME TX3520 - Half fitted!

Will post up some photos tonight.

The rear end is sagging and handling like an overloaded ute now even with my air bags pumped up to full pressure, so i've ordered a 3" lift from Caloffroad. Arrives early this week, install next monday booked in.

    Matt

Thanks Madkore.. no reason in particular. I am happy with the ST MAXX's for now but once they're worn I'll go a 285 in the ATZ 3's as they're slightly more aggressive. Still seem like identical technology to a ST MAXX which in my opinion are quite reliable.

Kaymay bar ETA is next week so i've got the prado booked in for Thursday to get it fitted.

Keen on some rims just haven't found anything yet which i think will suit silver.. any ideas?

Any reason you are switching from the ST Maxx to the MT ATZ3's?

Okay! After doing my head in for a while now trying to decide on both the rear bar and my suspension I finally bit the bullet and ordered kaymar rear bar today (bar only for now) and the Cal OffRoad 3" lift also booked in with UCA's, diff drop etc. Look forward to it! Thanks to "christoffurry" for all his time answering my questions regarding the lift.

Once my tyres wear down ill get 6 of the new ATZ's in 285's to finish her off. So far 40,000 kms on the ST MAXX in 12 months and I can't see them wearing out any time soon!
