For almost 2 years ago I mounted TJM. I had OME before. I put on 30 mm shims in front, that gave me 60 mm lift in front, and 40 mm back. I have been looking for an shims that could give me just right lift in back. I bought the shims at arctic trucks

I put on the clamps, released the shock absorber and lifted it on the frame, and the job was donenat one, two three

Nice truck, I was thinking about a hilux brake conversion for the same reason of fitting 15 inch rims. What model hilux did the brakes come from. Cheers Brett

Ideally I'd like a full steel rear bar but not likely for me in this lifetime
How/where is the pipework fixed to the chassis/rear of the car?)

          Cheers
Thinking along the same lines here Craig. Currently wearing some deep gouges on the lower corners of the rear bumper on the Prado.
I was thinking of using the rear OEM tie down bolt holes as a mounting point, however mine are getting a little crowded with the recovery lugs and long ranger poly water tank also mounted to these bolts. (Minus the OEM tie downs of course)
I do like the look of Highwaypatrol's outfit though.
Pretty sure Darren from ATS in Geelong use to fabricate a tough looking rear protection bar also.
          Cheers Troy
