All excited today - took the old girl into North West Offroad this morning to get some growth hormone injected.

Just been back to the vet and she has grown a very generous 60mm during the course of the day (from what is labelled a 2" lift). Put OME 2884 springs with 90000 sport struts in front, and 2896 springs and 60004 sport shockies in the rear.

No more parking in the garage for the time being though

        Measurements as follows:

        Before - LF 730, RF 740, LR 765, RR 770
        After - LF790, RF 790, LR 830, RR 835

Goes to show how much the factory kit had sagged with the vehicle fit-out and 53,000km.

        And the mandatory photos:

Them's pretty good numbers. The 60mm comes from the original suspension being about 10 - 20mm lower than new. 790 at the pointy end is just about perfect without the extra bits like a diff drop and new UCAs.

Now we have had this conversation before, Palmer - and we both know that (thanks to my on-board compressor), I can get faster rise than you can... 8-). No debate about the size of the rise though!

Geesus, just as well my better half doesn't follow threads I type in anymore. She will be trying to wash my laptop out with soap.

To true, but the worrying part is you get other blokes up as well...

Another job ticked off over the weekend.

Installed the ARB under vehicle protection I picked up when the suspension got done. This was not too bad to install by lying under the car now it is a little taller. All I need to do now is to find a suitable playground to test it out on, and get one of AMTS' radiator protection plates...

                            Very nice.
No wonder you're keen to get out for a run - to test the suspension and now the plates

We had around 5 inches of rain last week, so should be a few puddles about to play in too...

Smithy, I'm keen to lift mine 2 inches too. Tell me, what are the angles like on your CV's and drive shafts now? Can you post up a pic? Cheers.
