looks great 2004, good to see another pov pack getting a makeover, changing the std suspension over is one of the best mods you can do and when you throw some decent tyres in and maybe even a locker it inhances the offroad abilities greatly, watching this build closely. cheers samo

Cheers Samo, to pick this up for under $20K i just couldnt say no to the pov pack, my old mans got a 2009 VRX pajero, all leather etc and this has less cabin noise and in my opinion is smoother! obviously not as many of the bells and whistles but great value for money

As promised here's the UHF installed. Very happy with its size and functionality. Speakers surprisingly louder than expected very clear also.

nice buy at 20k with 94k on the clock thats a steal especially with some gear on it, i traded mine a few weeks ago for 18k with 221 on the clock and it still had a heap of gear on it when it went in. cheers samo

The yard was asking $20K for my 02 VX 95 series with 100,026 kms on the clock, not sure if they got that but it was sold within 2 weeks. Nothing special on mine, just a bullbar and D694 tyres.

So after a play at glasshouse in the mud on the weekend a locker is definitely next on the list.... The rear LSD or lack of is pretty much useless, as soon as a wheel is lifted or traction broken its bogged. Now to decide on what sort of locker....

air locker is 2k fitted thats with compressor or you can fit a mechanical locker if its set up right in the rear that is. cheers samo

Managed to score a set of drawes off gumtree on the weekend. Home made but great quality. The only drama is the fridge slide is too small for my 65L fridge so I am going to remove the slide, build a second drawer in its place and put a larger slide on top of the drawers. This will be good to utilise a bit more of the space anyway. Would love a drop slide but cannot justify parting with $650 so will just stand on the tippy toes or get a small step to see in the fridge if need be! Drawers clip into the factory part of the rear where rear seats clip in and are fully marine carpeted with no rattles at all. Very happy for the price as I was going to build a set.

Well your drive looks nice... Like the color of your vehicle, because it sounds great, but the modifications are also looks good, specially the roof rack on the top of the drive. And you got this in very reasonable price.. Thanks for sharing the photos.

It's a very small world or was it's Graz info alert from ebay on PP?? I actually bidded on these drawers too. I also went round to the guys house the night before to make sure all was good, my 47L ARB just squeezed in. I know how the bidding went, quite funny really, still I've a lifestyle rack (similar principle) so I'm happy I was outbid. Still they were very solid, taking two to install and remove. I would have had to have cut of the back end as that little ledge occupied the space where my cargo barrier is....something to consider if you get a C.Barrier!! Good on ya.

you wont go wrong with a rear air locker 2004, makes you think you should have done it sooner, and also you can take it a whole lot easier on the old girl to get it up to where you want to go. cheers samo
