Thanks for that. That was exactly what I was looking for. By the sounds of it, fitting carling switchs is a PITA.

The switches down by the 4wd selector look easy enough, so going forward thats the current plan. Compressor and a winch in/out switch.

Ok a bit of an update.

Speaking with the guys down South everything has been finished up and a delivery date has been agreed! 31st Aug will be the great reveal.

The wait for the ARB bull bar was a killer! Especially in Crystal pearl with the forward parking sensors.

Ive updated the first post with what mods have now been completed.

I have all the electrical bits and pieces sitting at home waiting

Yeah I'm interested too. I did an experiment when it was fitted to our cruiser and compared coolant temp, inlet temp and outlet temps. Ill dig the info up tomorrow. We had the same problem though, it only ever ran Luke warm so we just circulated it in a bucket until it was the right temp.

if it dosent here is my test results with the Glind and 12lt/min pump

Ok did a quick test today.

Engine temp 69.9 C
Inlet water temp 28.1 C
Outlet water temp 40.6 C
Flow rate 5lts @ 55 sec or 5.45lts per minute

Engine was Toyota 1HDT
Flow rate was calculated by using the scale on a 10lt bucket (probably not the most accurate but a good indication)
Outlet temp was measured when the bucket reached 8lts
Engine temp was measured externally on the thermostat housing
All temps measured with an infrared thermometer and probe (and yes its calibrated up to 300 C with +/- 1 C)
Glind heat exchanger and Flowjet pump

Food for thought anyway...

Ok so the suspension is all ordered and on the way! Pretty excited about that!

The kit will include

Adjustable upper arms
CalOffroad Bilstein front and rear shocks/struts and coils
Diff drop
Front sway bar relocation plates
Rear sway bar adjusters

Really interested in how this setup goes for you, as I may well copy you if you decide you got it right

I did see that post MJ but that's another month away. Surely one of our covert surveillance possums could obtain some photos of this secret Prado before then.
