Gonna fit up the extended Sway bar links from Wholesale Suspension on the weekend which really is only a 20 min job. Might provide a little qmore assistance in the rear flex department and also bring the sway bar at rest back to where it ought to be.Coupla Quick shots from the Sundown NP trip a couple of weeks ago (needs a wash, I know....)



And of course the Light Bar poser shot...

So not much on the idiot box tonight so installed those extended sway bar links. Probably took 10-15 minutes per side. Gave me a chance to have a poke around underneath. Apart from the usual additional scrapes and dents to the Fuel tank guards, everything was OK.

craig..I'm assuming you did not get any sway bar spacers when you bought your ABM OA6011 extended kit, as you so kindly (helped)/ ..put on my included sway bar spacers when I bought my kit. Looks the real deal now..loving the look of your grande..there's nothing I'd change...

Thanks Charles, yes the kit did come with the spacers which assisted a little but the Extended sway bar links are the way to go

What's Left?

So I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now with the Grande and a few people have asked me what's left to do? It's getting harder to come up with quick answer to folk but at present the list for major stuff is as below...

• amts Underbody Protection (one day? )
• Buds Customs Rear Bar ( same as what Scotticusmaximus has here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...9853961&type=1 )
• Longer travel shocks. Dont wanna go higher as the Prado on just fits in the Garage now.
• Winch Upgrade with Plasma. Really like what i'm hearing about the Runva Winches and the rope will get me over the line with SWMBO cause it's "safer"
• Reupholster the Front Seats

And ultimately of course Supercharge the V6 but that's "Pie in the Sky" stuff...

Craig,
I have the same ones on the Prado. The only issue i have with them is they should come with an additional two washer seats for each ruber on the link.
I reused one of the washer seats underneath as you did but there should also be one above as the rubber does not have an indent like the OEM rubber it repalces. When you tighten it down it will stop most of the movemnt but that little modificaiton to the kit would make it better.
