Very cool barrier indeed. Not sure about the front seats. That'd be dependant on a couple of critical measurements. The distances between headrests and the distance between top of seat and roof. Also the distance of the where the barrier sits from the Jesus bars for the 2nd row...
Something I've been meaning to do for ages is to get the UHF mic up off the centre console deck while I'm out wheelin with the crew. Day to day it sits on the centre console deck wrapped around the low range lever which is fine. Here's what I did..
Dremeled out a slot in the glasses holder!
The mic sits perfectly up in the slot that has been cut out where I can easily reach up to access it
I finally also picked up a GME External mic and installed it inside the centre console, cable tying it to the cabling next to the Auto Shifter. I won't need to have the volume cranked to 100% any more as I have the main unit of my old GME TX3400 wedged in behind the dash.
Another couple of mods that I've been meaning to do for ages is to have the ability to charge my electrical devices such as laptops and cameras etc whilst on the move. I picked up this Projecta Pro-Wave 350W inverter at a very good price at the last 4WD show here in Bne, which I have mounted in the rear, adjacent to my 12V power sources. I have not concealed it as I want to be able to isolate the device (it has a on/off switch on the front) easily when required.
As I want to be able to charge multiple devices simultaneously, I fitted a 4 way power board securely by means of cable tying to the rear barrier. It's up nice and high and out of the rear view mirrors site and easily accessible
Along with the 240V power, I've been looking around for a long time for a suitable method of providing USB power for the kids devices (iPads/phones etc...) and picked up one of these beauties from MSY. It's a nice compact 4 way USB Charging Hub which all four ports are 5V 2.1A for speedy charging and is suitable for the latest iPads. I ran a new circuit from my Aux Batt fuse panel and ran it through the centre console to the back of the console and drilled a small hole for cable entry where I have a Female Cig socket with a suitable length tail sitting in the bottom of the pocket in case a different device requires power. I used a couple of dabs of silastic to secure the hub to the pocket as screws weren't really an option. The 12V input plug is on the bottom the unit and there is an on/off button next to the input which can easily be accessed. A blue led indicates that the unit is switched on. It's a great little unit and for $29 you cant go wrong! LINK HERE
But none of them let you plug more than one 2.1 amp usb device in at once so I was down to installing a few of them all over the car. Your hub might do the job better. I might have to look into it a bit more.

Looks great Craig, you found the same one as I have. I think i got it from Jaycar.
Its really handy for charging the laptop and I like the on/off switch as well.
That's a sweet looking cargo barrier as well!
Cheers

Picked up a nice LED light for the rear door a couple of weeks ago. This is the same light that Richo & Brains have in the back of their 150's. I have been meaning to get one for quite a while. I already had a power feed from the Aux battery fuse box under the bonnet from a few years back so the install didn't take too long. I managed to take the rear door trims off without breaking any clips (phew...)
The LED light fits up to a couple of clips that are mounted first. It comes with self tappers but I chose to use som m3 Bolts & Nuts with a dab of lock tight to ensure they don't rattle loose.
Very impressive amount of light from this unit. With a nice touch button to turn on/off
