Time to start a thread here as I am passing the 10,000 km mark with my new Prado 150 Kakadu 2013.
Got it out of the factory and negotiated few options with delivery including:
First thing to say about the above is that the Alloy nudge part is placed straight in the middle of the front camera and making it nearly useless to use. Surely Toyota could have identify this and come up with a better design for it. As I am going to set a bull bar, this makes me think about making sure I can re-allocate it forward to be able to use it to full capacity.
The TPMS system is a great way to monitor the pressure and saved me from some guaranteed punctures during a recent trip on the gravel road from Central Australia. Only disappointment is that it is beeping nearly each time I start to drive as the pressure increase with heat. So if you set it at 38 PSI cold, after a few km's they will go up to 40+ and generate a beeping signal. It is very quick to stop but still annoying. Again Toyota could have allow for this changes as it is also monitoring the heat from the tyre and could have set some expected pressure increase.
Other that this, extremely happy with everything that Kakadu has to offer in terms of comfort. Looking now for all the mod to make it ready for the outback terrain!
Will keep this thread up-to-date with them as they come...
