Hi guys, after lurking around here for a while, and being without a 4wd for a number of years, I finally put down a deposit on a Prado on Friday. Got the following:

White GX auto diesel five seater
    ARB deluxe winch bar
    OME suspension kit
    Toyota towbar
    Snorkel
    Redarc dual battery system
King Rebel wheels in black satin
    Cooper ST Maxx 265/70R17's
    Window tint
    headlight protectors
    Bonnet protector
    Floor mats
    Cargo area mat
    Full tank of diesel

All fitted and on the road for a smidge under $65K.

Will post pics when it's delivered.

Just gotta wait for the dealer to finish the build, probably about two weeks.

Building a long list of further mods!

Thanks Smithy. Took me a while to find the wheels I wanted, but they look pretty good.

OK so my Powerful 4x4 sliders and Supertrim seat covers arrived this week. Was all set to get everything fitted this afternoon but ran into a few problems...When I opened the packaging for the rock sliders it appears one of them has been dropped or impacted so hard (while still in the box) that it has bent the front 90 degree elbow section mounting bracket, damaged the powder coating, and displaced the tread so far that one of the tread bolts has sheared off. From everything I can see clearly not a design/production issue, but a handling/transport issue.Anyway I fitted the other slider, took me and the old man about 30 minutes all up. They look and feel very solid, so now just waiting on what can be done about the damaged one. Prado might pull to the right until I fit the other one!Supertrim seat covers look and feel great, but had a few minor issues with the second row covers, mainly the alignment of the headrest holes and the headrest covers themselves. Waiting on response from Supertrim about that, thinking possibly could have been sent the wrong ones. Will upload some more pics tomorrow.Ando

Not sure what's going on, can't seem to get line breaks to work in the text. Anyway no biggie but sorry for the long paragraph.

Whoa, that must have been some fairly decent whack your sliders took! Interesting though to see how they have been constructed, with the end bent section of pipe being separate from the straight section then put over as a sleeve and bolted together.

I'm guessing here but I think they construct them that way to allow fitment of the side rails that attach to the bullbar.

Got the power to the rear yesterday. Took me most of the day while being distracted by other things.

6mm cable from battery to the rear LHS, with inline fuse fitted. Rear set up was inspired by the installation that downunder (Dave) did http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post348732.

Also decided to take advantage of the BCF 25% off everything camping sale and picked up a Waeco CFX-50 for $975. Bargain.

Fitted up the Roadsafe recovery points...

                              http://i838.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps45460be4.jpg

Had to slightly modify the edge of the ARB bar stone guard to fit into the slot on the recovery point, but no big deal.

I think next major mod will be the drawers. That will be a DIY job.

                              Cheers
