    Thanks for the feedback!

Will be a nice warm trip down at that time of year, but I guess that it means you will escape the wet season.

The one thing that I have learnt with doing the roof rack for this car is having it flat makes things a lot more flexible. The way that this one works with being able to put the wind shield up gives great flexibility.

Had the test fitting of the rock sliders yesterday before they are powder coated tomorrow ready for fitting. All fitted perfectly first go!

Well the sliders are all ready, but unfortunately need a couple of adjustments before they fit properly. So sadly they will get sand blasted, fixed up, and then we will get them fitted up again. At least it doesn't take long to fit!

A couple of the finished job before we realised that they needed adjusting. Unfortunately the phone locked up and so I couldn't get any pics whilst we had them on the car.

The side steps have taken a back seat due to the heat of the summer, and it not being condusive to welding, but hopefully once it cools down they will make an appearance.

Todays addition was a voltage booster diode from ABR sidewinder. Nice simple install for hopefully some decent gain.

Only real change of late has been the addition of a Safari Snorkel to make things look a bit more like they should. Managed to get a brand new un-opened one off of Gum Tree for a pretty good price, and then just got it fitted by CMI.
Opposite lock wanted to charge for 3 hours work to fit it if you didn't buy the snorkel through them, but if you buy it through them then it's only 2 hours. That was a bit shonky!

Well it took us going overseas for 6 weeks and not needing the car, but the rock sliders have finally come to fruition, and have come up great. They were made by Burtons Tube Worx out at Angle Vale, who also made the roof rack as well.
