    Hi Guys,

Picked up my 2011 Prado GX D4D Auto 4 days ago, been stalking around these forums for a while now while I was looking for one.

Already came with a Opposite Lock Winch bar, and I'm slowly getting some kit together.

First thing on the shopping list was Recovery Points and I picked up the Point Kit with Bridle on eBay for $260 (yet to install)
Got a Warn Recovery Kit, some pain in the ass seat covers (they aren't bad just a pain in the butt to install), dash mat, headlight protectors, weathershields (all yet to install, except the seat covers where I got the middle row done)

Safari Snorkel, I-Max (ebay) winch, ABR Sidewinder Compressor and Roof Racks are on the way.

Still have to find a set of sliders, and pick a dual battery setup.

Then it'll be time for wheels and tyres and maybe a lift.

I think that's it? Probably forgetting something.

Rear-bar, drawers and fridge some stage in the future.

It's already got some bash plates underneath, but they came pre-beaten. Worth replacing or leave it?

The factory plates are thin and useless. So if you are going to venture beyond formed roads it's may be wise to upgrade the armour underneath.

Are the bash plates the factory ones? I mangled my front factory one on the last outing, replaced it and the transmission plate with Ironman ones for less than a wrecker was asking for one factory plate.

Mate, I would recomend all things protective. Good investment to save big dollers on sumps and tranmissions and things that are under the car.

Probably the factory ones. They're super flimsy and have probably already taken all the beating they can.

SOL, neither of those links worked for me mate.

Thanks for that mate, looks like a couple of ripper products. Will definitely have to get onto these.

Has anyone on here done similar with sliders?

beefd, You are Welcome. I have both fitted and can say they have worked well.

As for sliders no one on PP makes them at this stage. Due to the airbags and other eletronic crash junk fitted and the required certification stuff. Derrek and a few others are looking at some from superior off road. Also ARB and TJM make them I think.
Maybe ask Oppistie lock if they do them. Might be able to get a set that links to your bar?

                SOL.

Enjoy setting up your rig beefd, the TG150, is a cheap investment and Brains has done a great job. There are some awesome products on PP. The Vic Crew often has outings, normally once a Month, don't be afraid to come along for a play.

                    Cheers josh

Busy Saturday installing the roof racks, plastidipping the front badge, installing the weathershields and headlight protectors. Still have a Snorkel and recovery points waiting to be fitted.

Been a bit flat out over the past couple of weeks and haven't had a chance to put anything up.

                            Recovery Points - Done
Safari Snorkel - Done (as every snorkel owner knows, your Prado screams as you cut into it)

And I discovered an absolute prick of a nail going through the sidewall of one of my tyres.

                              So it's been a while...

Progress slowed down significantly through Summer.

Have now done a little more.

                              Wheels: Dynamic 17x8 Black
                              Tyres: BF Goodrich AT 275/65

What do you guys think I should do about the hubs? Paint them? Cover them?

IMAX Winch is bolted in place, not actually wired up yet. Just thought I'd at least get it out of the box.
