I went up to Gembrook with some mates on Saturday and dinged up the muffler, so it looks like I'll be upgrading the exhaust at some stage :P oh what a pity.
Some sliders (Powerful 4x4 $699), AMTS bash plates ($370) will definitely be on the cards as well as the TG150 ($180).
And maybe a 2" lift and new exhaust.2011 Prado GX D4D Auto White

Nice GX!
I fitted up some bash plates last week in anticipation of the abuse it was going to cop on the weekend in the Otways. Glad I did, I have slightly dented the TG150, the ARB bash plates and the stonetray that runs from the bullbar to the bash plates. The middle fuel tank also copped a pretty large dent. Protection is well worth it! Sliders are mandatory. I will need them. I was very careful and ALMOST got the drivers door a beauty of a submerged log.
How easy was fitting the snorkel? It will be my last mod but I want to get my head ready for that moment I start chomping into it!

Hey Beefd,
How do the 275/65's go? No scrubbing or anything? And what offset did you get on the wheels. Been looking for info for a while on this for when I get a new set. Although that's hopefully not for another 80,000km or so.
It's hard to find info on this with a standard suspension GX.

I'm looking at the same sized wheels in black too. Nice contrast between black wheels and white car.
Looks like you had fun on the weekend! Mine was similarly dirty, still is mostly. My main concern for cleaning is getting as much mud out from under the car as soon as possible. It's amazing how much mud hides under there!White 2011 Auto GX D4D, ARB Winch Bar, IPF spotties, 245/70R17 BFG All Terrains, Evakool 47L fridge, Ctek D250S.

Good idea about the sprinkler. Maybe even pressure wash, sprinkler then pressure wash again. Get all the chunky stuff off then moisten the rest then wash it off. I think that sounds like a good idea. I know I'm pretty terrible with keeping things up to date on here, but the latest addition is some nice and dark window tinting.
Big shoutout to Pradopoint member Winesy (Brett - 0419 515 511) from VIP Window Tinting Ferntree Gully
He gave me a really good deal for being a Pradopoint Member and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Also, his rig is really well setup, check it out on his Build Up page. Parked next to his rig, mine looked more like a Kluger. Gonna have to give mine a lift :P

Dobinsons 2" Lift (C59-352, C59-325, GS59-700, GS59-701) with my existing superior engineering spacer still in place.
Road Runner 1" Diff Drop Kit.
Road Runner Upper Control Arm.
Mickey Thompson MTZ 285-70-17s fitted to my 17x8 +10 dynamic rims.
My bashplate got a little bashed last trip out. Will have to rebash it as it currently won't fit with the diff drop kit in place.
The tyres rub on the front right mudflap but not on the front left as I'd already modified the front left with a couple of cable ties that hold it back a little. Will just do the same with the front right as it's a quick and easy fix that seems to work well2011 Prado GX D4D Auto White
