Scratched Panel Prevention
Hi guys - Been a long time lurker but never posted posting here before.
Before the Prado i use to drive the kluger and I hate the silver trims they put inside the car.
It scratched so easily making it look like a second hand car within months.
When the new 150 arrives I thought damn you TOYOTA you can make cars but your interior finish is CRAP.
So I bought the clear film they use for exterior paint protection and plastered it over the high wear area.
I put it around areas like the
- Steering wheel
- door handle
- center console
- anything that is silver inside the car.
After 1 year I found that the product does it job very well and does not yellow over time. However sticking down these films are not easy you need to make templates and trust me lots of practice to get it right.
So what I what I offer fellow PRADONISTA is a package to cover your silver trim with the clear film to protect it from scratch.
