Afternoon folks!
Have been lurking around on here for some time, figured I should probably thrown down my build thread..
This is my 1998 3.4L manual GXL Prado. I picked her up with around 180,000km on the clock a few years ago - my first "real" car after a Honda Civic that was sold not long after I got it..

It started off stock as a rock, was running the standard roof rack and alloy bullbar w/Hella Rallye 2000's from factory. That didn't last long.

To-date, current list of modifications consists of...
- TJM T15 Bullbar
- Tigerz11 12,000lb Grande winch
- Safari Snorkel
- 2 inch Tough Dogg lift w/adjustable shocks
- 265/75/16 Cooper STMaxx on 16x8 -0 offset Dynamic Rims
- GME 3400w/GME elevated feed whip antenna
- Aldi Fire Extinguisher ($14!!!)
- Dr. Air 150LPM compressor
- eBay 55W HID driving lights
- 20" LED roof bar
- 2x 8" internal LED work lights
- LED reverse/work light (dual switched)
- Opposite Lock diff breathers
- Opposite Lock recovery gear
- Opposite Lock First Aid Kit (with some modifications!)
- Alpine head unit
- Factory roof rack
On the maybe list..
- Rear locker (ARB or Eaton)
- Awning
- Full custom exhaust incl. headers
- Fridge
- TPMS
- Rear drawers
- Dual batteries
- Side-scan LED lights
- ARB/TJM/Brown Davis bash plates (stock ones are a touch bent)
- Replace my lost wheel removal tool/bottle jack (borrowed by someone's 100 series. Never let stuff out of your sight!)

The above photo was taken with the rear swaybar still installed and after I'd added the new set of Cooper STMaxx 265/75/16's running on Dynamic 16x8's with a -0 offset, along with the 2in Tough Dogg lift kit (adjustable shocks).
I was going to originally pick the foam cells but I was able to get the variable valve models for less than $150 above the total foam cell cost. So far, they've proven to be faultless and in conjunction with the bigger tires, have given her significantly improved clearance from stock.
Also, the new suspension and tire set-up makes crawling over peak-hour traffic a breeze!

Otherwise, thats about it for now! Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Cheers,
